About Us
Welcome to Lyhnari, meaning “lamp” in Greek—a symbol of light, knowledge, and tradition. At the Lyhnari Performing Arts and Cultural Group, we bring this spirit to life by celebrating Greek culture through theatre, literature, music, visual arts, and traditional folk dance.

Whether you’re connected to Greek heritage or simply curious, Lyhnari offers a place to learn, participate, and experience the richness of our traditions. Our board is dedicated to preserving Edmonton’s cultural landscape and ensuring Greek culture continues to inspire future generations.

Throughout the year, we host meaningful and community-focused events such as dynamic dance performances, Independence Day celebrations, Greek Fest, and family gatherings like Mother’s Day.
