Lyhnari means “lamp” in Greek—a symbol of light, knowledge, and tradition that has illuminated Greek culture since antiquity.

At the Lyhnari Performing Arts and Cultural Group, we celebrate and share this heritage through theatre, literature, music, visual arts, and traditional folk dance. Whether you have Greek roots or are simply curious about our culture, Lyhnari is a place to connect, learn, and experience the richness of Greek tradition.

Our dedicated board works to preserve and enrich Edmonton’s cultural landscape, ensuring that Greek traditions not only endure but continue to inspire future generations.
